Runner's High

In completing any race, I have found my experience to be confidence building with physical benefits being a plus. After a race or marathon, I feel completely renewed and confident with my achievement. If you ever experienced "Runner's High" it's exactly how it feels. What have your experiences been, can you relate?

Sunday Scaries

As I accomplish yet another long sunday run; I prepare myself for what the week entails. Fortunately, I have the fall break to look forward to to get back on track to make some new purchases. I plan on getting a new pair of sneakers on our days off from school. I plan on investing in Nike's new Pegasus! After this week I'm going to let you know how they are! I'm really pumped to see how they will be performance wise. I have Pegasus right now and I can't complain, so hopefully my expectations are met with their most recent collection. I'm excited to break them in and see what they're all about!

My Very 1st Post

This is my very first post and only eight more weeks of training left! Can you believe it? As it gets closer to marathon time school work is catching up to me, work is getting the best of me; it's hard to find the extra motivation I need to feel good about my workouts. Not to mention fitting them into the day without feeling exhausted. With that being said, music is what gets me through my long runs. I came across a song that I knew already, but I never knew the meaning behind the song. This sounds corny, but now that I've seen the music video, I now have so much more appreciation for the song! The song I'm talking about is called "Renegade" by X Ambassadors. Click this link and check it out. Enjoy.

Introduction To My Site

My name is Sydney Maxwell, and I'm a 23 year old student at West Chester University. This blog has been created because of my strong interest for running, and solely I must complete a blog during my last semester here. I've always had a passion to exercise ever since I was young enough to remember.

I hope that my blog inspires you to get out there and run more than you normally would. I also hope that it will help myself get more motivated as I continue on my journey of training for my second marathon! I will be updating you daily specifically on how I prepare for my runs along the way!
